The celebration begins with a reading from the first in Ms. Manhein’s new series for young readers, Claire Carter, bone detective: the mystery of the bones in the drainpipe. Next, enjoy a light reception followed by Ms. Manheim reading from her adult novel, Floating Souls: the canal murders. She will be available for questions and book signings after both the children’s and adult readings, and books will be available for sale.
