Are you spring cleaning? Have things that are too good to throw out, but you would rather not keep? Join the Albany-Springfield Branch for our second Freecycle event.

The idea behind Freecycle is to conserve our environment by sharing things that could be used by others rather than throwing them away. Bring your gently used items and see what items others have brought. Everything is free! Donations can be dropped off starting on Thursday, April 24 at 9:00 a.m.

Please consider donating any gently used items such as household decorations, cookware, small furniture, toys, and electronics. We will not be accepting clothing, anything with a strong odor, large furniture, or broken items. We will accept re-usable parts of electronics.

Whether you donate items or not, you are welcome to attend the Freecycle on Friday, April 25 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Any items that are not picked up at the program will be donated to Women Outreaching Women in Denham Springs.
