Celebrate Free Comic Book Day at Livingston Parish Library's second annual Comic Con!

We will have crafts, games, and costumed characters. At 1:00 P.M., you can even enjoy a lecture from Southeastern Louisiana University Professor Rebecca Rushing about Harry Potter. At 2:00 P.M., learn how to draw your own super hero from a Talented Arts Teacher. At 3:00 P.M. participate in our Fandom Battle trivial pursuit game.

 Throughout the day, enjoy activities set up all over the library to celebrate all things nerdy. Design your own superhero with costume and powers to enter our costume contest to win a gift card from Cavalier House Books, or dress as your favorite character. Costumes aren’t required but are encouraged. Free comic books will be distributed by Southeast Cards and Comics and Comic Café while supplies last. This event is free fun for all ages!
